6-day itinerary for Ladakh

Who said that the wonders of Ladakh couldn’t be experienced in 6 days? Well, we have created a carefully crafted 6-day itinerary that will guide you on things to do during your visit, which will be enough to touch every aspect of this beautiful heaven on earth.

Day 1: Arrive in Leh- Acclimatise

Being situated at a high altitude, we recommend you keep an extra day in hand to acclimatise your body to avoid any acute mountain sickness before moving further up in Ladakh, especially if you plan to travel alone.

Day 3: Leh – Khardung La Pass – Diskit – Hunder

Leh Main Market

End your day with a stroll around Leh’s local market, shopping and trying some local cuisine, such as Thukpa. It’s the best place to buy authentic pashmina shawls and unique lanterns as souvenirs.

Leh –  Hemis Monastery - Pangong Tso – Leh

To add an extra layer of excitement to your Ladakh vacation, you can visit Nubra valley to catch one of the best sunrises in India . The valley is 160 km away from Leh and will require a good 4-5 hours of travel time to reach, so make sure you plan your trip according.
